Produced on the historic Tenuta di Capezzana estate west of Florence, this organic extra virgin olive oil represents one of Tuscany’s most respected family producers. Estate‑grown and milled, Capezzana has been under continuous family ownership since 804 AD, making it one of the oldest agricultural estates in Europe. Tenuta di Cappezzana was born in the 1020’s when Count Alessandro Contini Bonacossi purchased the property and expanded by purchasing 3 other farms. Today the fourth and fifth generation family member carry on the family passion.
The 2025 harvest is an early‑picked blend of Frantoio, Moraiolo, and Leccino, cold‑extracted within hours to preserve freshness, structure, and natural polyphenols. The result is a balanced, medium‑robust Tuscan olive oil that works equally well for everyday cooking and finishing.
