THE OWNERS

Amy & Andrew Mangini

The Manginis share a lifetime love of food, travel, and developing personal connections.

As deep-rooted Texans and explorers of the globe, the Mangini’s vision for Andiamo Market is to create and curate culinary-inspired products. To celebrate people. To celebrate life.

Our Story

Amy and Andrew’s love of Italy spans generations.

The Mangini family originated in Naples, Italy, before immigrating to America. A life-long spark ignited when Andrew’s paternal grandfather taught him to make traditional ‘Sunday gravy’, a twelve-hour labor of love. Andrew’s passion for cooking continues to be influenced by his curious nature and his mom’s depth and breadth of culinary expertise.

In 1995, Amy was an exchange student in Ferrara, Italy, where she had the opportunity to live with a very special family. The time Amy spent as an exchange student led to her deep affection for Italian culture. Decades later, Amy’s “Italian family” continues to inspire her approach to life. She has been fortunate to explore Italy more than five times – and welcomes the opportunity to visit one hundred more.

After meeting in 2007, Amy and Andrew began dreaming of an Italian-inspired business. While their fantasies initially manifested as whimsical notes and sketches, their first decision never wavered – selection of the name ‘Andiamo Market’.  Andiamo or “Let’s go!” was the first word Amy learned as an exchange student in Italy – and represents the Manginis zest for life!

Our Purpose

The Manginis believe preparing and sharing food creates space for curiosity, enriches understanding, and builds community.

PRODUCTS

WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL

The Manginis mutual love of entertaining, combined with Andrew’s woodworking hobby evolved into creating products with Texan grit and Italian flair. The blend of these cultures and our enjoyment of good friends over good cuisine – led to the creation of our first product line, handcrafted serveware. Cutting boards have been used for thousands of years, dating back to ancient civilizations. The Industrial Revolution introduced mass production of cutting boards and accessibility to a larger audience. In current times, there is a renewed interest in high-quality, handcrafted cutting boards.
